UST MEDICAL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION OFFICERS and BOARD OF DIRECTORS 2006

Dear Fellow Thomasian Alumni and Friends,

Warmest Greetings!

The 65th Grand Alumni Homecoming last December 18, 2005 was another blockbuster with 650 attendees.  Hats off to the Golden Class 1955  coming in with a count of 104 totaling 133 including their accompanying person. The Silver (1980) and Ruby (1965) Jubilarians were not to be outdone, who also came in big numbers, in their best attire and full “Regalla” dance presentations.  The various classes Sapphire (1960), Coral (1970), Pearl (1975) and theyoungest” Emerald class 1950 completed the whole evening celebration.

Let me extend too, my deepest appreciation to the workforce behind the entire Homecoming events especially to the younger batches (1985, 1990, 1995 and 2000) and all.  The Jubilarian Representatives in the AHOC, who all worked together for the success of our 2005 Homecoming.

Being the Silver Jubilarian in 2005, I am so proud and grateful for all the support of my classmates particularly our U.S. based counterparts who traveled thousands of miles to join us.  I am optimistic that despite numerous challenges and difficulties that we are faced as an organization, we shall continue to exist with the help and support of the Thomasian Medical classes.  There are lots of plans for the future especially the completion of our database, reactivation of various USTMAA chapters, improving our research skills especially our younger colleagues and continuing on with our Medical Missions and Bioethics Seminars.

We won’t exist without you, our fellow Thomasians, so we encourage you to continually link with us through our E-mail, ustmaa@ustlru.com, also, we invite you to be included in our database by visiting our website and updating your details.

Again we do hope to be of service to you, our members and let us know in which way we can.  You are very welcome to drop by at our office at Room 105, 1/f Medicine Building,  and presently we are open even on Saturdays.  We have two (2) Secretaries, Abba and Jeni, who would be more than willing to accommodate you.  As our Homecoming 2005 theme goes: Looking Back, Moving Forward…….Proud to be a Thomasian doctors, this is your 2006 USTMAA President welcoming all of you and hoping that the Thomasian M.D.’s will truly be linked with formidable bridges across all groups and geographical territories.

Thank you!
